Bhairhawa,Nepal-Even the rain of the ashad has not affected the
construction work of Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa.
The construction company has started to the work on paining the ground
and managing the river as the rainy season has started while they are
undergoing the construction of runway for the airport.Northwest China Company who has undertook the construction work of
the airport informed that though they cannot do the work of pitching the
runway in rainy season, the work that can be done in rainy season are
still going on. The work was not stopped even in the rainy season in
order to completed the whole work exactly at the time set for the
completion.
The construction of runway in the airport being the important part
the construction company have given special attention to the work
related to it. they have separated 51% of their total budget in the
construction of the runway. The runway in the construction will be
situated at southern part of the present runway.
According to Deputy director of the project Om Sharma the work of
removing the bushes and the tree in the construction site of runway is
going on and the basement would be constructed within two month of time.
After the completion of the construction of the runway in two year the
runway will be at 1 hundred 35 cm high from the ground level.Northwest Company of Chine is improving the present condition of Gautam
Airport which was constructed with the help of Indian Government help in
2023 for making it as international airport and has got budget of 6
billion 22 million 51 million 20 thousand, two hundred and 27.
According to the agreement the construction of the airport would be
complete at 2017 December 39. With help of the Asian bank Limited the
construction for this international airport was started. Prime Minister
Shushil Koirala did the opening of the construction of the airport in
Magh 1.
